Back in 2006 Boeing introduced the blueprints to their new, fuel efficient (compared to other jets), 787 "dreamliner". Finally made it's first flight on December 15th. To me, the interesting thing about it is the fact that unlike most cars, planes are made to be aerodynamic and, well, thats it. Stylish designing is left for inside the plane. So, this is to date the best shape of metal that can fly in the air.
