Been listening to a lot of East Village Radio recently, especially since Woxy is off the air.

Their programming is interesting, 2 hour shifts all hours, all week. I've probably heard most of them at one time or another but only a few stick out that i really like so far. its always changing anyway.

Good space pop.

I don't know if they're japanese, but you could hear a lot of this in tokyo.

anything inspired by garages, basements, and boredom.

Really weird early electronic.

The music is hit or miss, but the DJ rules. He's got the likable new york hate y'all attitude, fits with the music really well.

80s and 90s underground pop. you never know

...and there are 78 other legit programs. wowza.

With every show being a specialty show there's a lot of directions. The randomness of turning it on is fun in itself.

  1. Nice. This gives me new music to listen to at work. And a chance to convince everyone in my office that I really am insane.
